Miss Auburn-Opelika, Kelly Hutchinson crowned Miss Alabama USA 2020 on Oct. 5, 2019 during a ceremony at the Gogue Performing Arts Center in Auburn according to AL. Hutchinson, who she’s a communications major at Auburn University will have the opportunity to compete for Miss USA 2020 which will be held in spring.
The 22- years old , had to compete against 32 other women in three show segments: interview, swimsuit and evening gown. Hutchinson, after she won the title she posted on Deskgram.cc saying " A huge dream of mine came true last night. I am so grateful and excited to share I am Miss Alabama USA!! So thankful for God’s perfect timing".

Hutchinson, who she's from Georgia , has a good experience in beauty pageants as she crowned Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen in 2013. “I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and have held numerous leadership positions within my sorority in the past. I am also a member of Auburn’s Panhellenic Cabinet as the Director of Miss Panhellenic meaning I am in charge of planning this year’s Miss Panhellenic pageant. I am very excited about it! I am also a member of Mortar Board honor society and spent the past year as a member of the Auburn Tiger Paws dance team.” Hutchinson told aotourism.com.
